stimulating their business and innovation desires that can further affect their home countries
positively.
To facilitate critical dialogue on current business and innovation trends, challenges, and opportunities in the UK for African students.
To provide a platform for startups and growth within the African business and innovation community
To recognize and award exemplary African leaders (students, past students and the community) present at the dinner.
Many of the African students in the UK are seasoned professionals, innovators and or successful business men and women that have afforded them the financial and mental capacity to come legally and gloriously into the UK. But the battle for survival and academic demands, as a new resident in an entirely new world have denied many the grace to further
innovate. So, we introduce what promises to be an annual summit to rebirth or revive this innovation in us, tagged: ‘Annual African Business and Innovation Summit I’ with an Award Night to recognise among us those who have taken bull by the horn to inspire their others in spite of their own personal new resident challenges.
So, to actualise this vision, we are seeking funding to host this summit and the award night.
This 2-in-1 event will help to bring together students from various African countries to engage in critical dialogue on current business and innovation trends, challenges, and opportunities. The event also seeks to promote collaboration, networking, and the stimulation of business desires among African students, providing a platform for startups and growth, and
ultimately contributing to the economic growth and development of our respective nations.
The African Business and Innovation Summit will feature various activities aimed at achieving the stated objectives, including panel discussions, workshops, and speaker sessions. The summit will provide a platform for students and entrepreneurs to exchange business ideas, showcase innovative projects, and explore opportunities for collaboration with the aim of funding one or two widely approved innovative ideas. This will be followed by a dinner and award ceremony, where exemplary African leaders (students, past students and the community) will be recognised and celebrated for their contributions to the students, business, innovation and community development.
The proposed conference and award night is expected to have a significant impact on the African business and innovation community among the African students in the UK. It will provide a platform for knowledge sharing, networking, and collaboration, ultimately contributing to the economic growth and development of the participating nations. Furthermore, the recognition of exemplary African leaders (students, past students and the community) will inspire and motivate the next generation of innovation and business leaders.
